A Grand Tour
Through Japan’s Timeless
Landscapes and
Subtle Elegance
Nestled in the heart of Japan’s rural landscape, you’ll find a single, beautifully preserved kominka—one of the finest traditional homes in the country.
Here, the only sounds are the quiet of nature.
The only light comes from the sun by day, and the moon and stars by night.
In a world filled with noise, bright screens, and constant updates, this place offers something rare—true stillness.
A fully private retreat, free from distraction, where you can simply enjoy irreplaceable moments with those who matter most.

The History of
Age Guesthouse
This house was built over a century ago,
using Igura-zukuri, a traditional architectural style unique to the Hiroshima region.
It was originally the family home of our founder, Masaru Tange and Takumi Tange,
and has been renovated over three years.
With deep respect for its heritage, the house has been transformed into
one of the finest examples of kominka architecture in Japan.
We would be honored if this place becomes a reason for you to visit Jinsekikogen, Hiroshima.
